About The Event
One of the most significant ways our organization displays its commitment to creating an impact in the Orlando community is through our annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway called - A Time for Giving.
Since 2018, our organization united to provide 65 underserved families with free Thanksgiving meals for the holidays. In addition, we have been able to provide free haircuts for youth, gift cards for families and an enjoyable family friendly environment during our holiday event.
The hardworking families that we have provided this experience to in the past are more than deserving of a holiday meal to enjoy with their loved ones. Given our current economic crisis, there is a high financial strain on families to simply take care of day to day necessities. That is why we are reaching out to you to join us in supporting our neighbors.
Please consider making a donation toward providing meals for families this Thanksgiving holiday. Our goal is to provide 30 families with Thanksgiving meals which will include:
- (1) 14lb turkey
- Boxed dressing
- Gravy
- Green beans
- Corn
- Dessert
